In 2021, I joined as the Associate Producer onto a two-person team tasked with building a new Live Division at Bad Robot Productions.

Elizabeth Rothman, the Head of Department, began this work in January of 2020 and then, well you know what happened two months later. (Global pandemics are not an ideal time to start any type of Live business…!)

She worked solo until I joined the team and then we became a Dynamic Duo working closely to build this department from the ground up by defining the artistic vision, creative strategy, business goals, social impact metrics, and artistic content. 

As the only two employees based in New York with the remainder of the company in Los Angeles, we started our work together out of an apartment in Brooklyn and eventually reached the point of closing a multi-million dollar joint development deal with a major Broadway & West End producer.
